COLLAGE
Art Direction, Personal
Having studied photography and design at London College of Communication, I still use the camera as a regular tool in my creative process. I’m drawn to the natural world’s shifting colors, textures, and atmospheres, which often become a quiet influence in my design work.
I’m especially interested in places where nature and architecture meet. The photograph used for the LP cover below was taken in New York’s Tudor City neighborhood, shot through a reflection. That tension between the wild and the structured appeals to me on a visceral level. It also carries into my design practice. It’s fun when design can deviate from structure and get a bit weird. Contrast is everything.
